MUSEUM OF PERCEPTIONS

Museum of Perceptions is a performance combining images and body movement. It is an autobiographical work evolving from a collection of personal writing that I created during the  52 weeks of 2017 as part of the project Los 52 Golpes. Based on this weekly diary I assembled a visual interpretation and composed a series of analogic collages. These were projected inside a blacked-out shipping container where I was present and placed my body to breathe life into these moments.

This project explores my perceptions of the world around me and has been presented as a confluence of visual art, installation, movement.

Drawn from a feminist perspective, Museum of Perceptions offers the audience a glimpse into a woman's mind and give them a space to reflect on the multi-layers of existence.
